**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Personal Care Assistance:** Provide support with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting, ensuring the dignity and comfort of individuals in your care.
- **Emotional Support:** Establish and maintain positive, trusting relationships with clients, offering companionship and emotional support to enhance their quality of life.
- **Medication Management:** Assist clients in managing their medications as prescribed, ensuring accurate understanding and adherence to medication schedules.
- **Mobility Assistance:** Help clients with mobility needs, including transferring, walking, and using assistive devices, to promote independence and safety.
- **Household Support:** Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and grocery shopping, to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
- **Communication:** Serve as a liaison between clients, families, and healthcare providers, effectively communicating any changes in health or behavior to the appropriate parties.
- **Documentation:** Maintain accurate and timely records of care provided, client progress, and any concerns or observations, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
- **Team Collaboration:** Work collaboratively with other care team members, attending training and meetings as required to ensure continuous improvement in care delivery.

**Qualifications:**
- **Education:** High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Completion of a certified nursing assistant (CNA) program or relevant training is a plus.
- **Experience:** Previous experience in a caregiving role, such as home health aide, nursing assistant, or similar position, is preferred.
- **Skills:**
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with clients and families effectively.
- Empathy and understanding of the needs of individuals with varying levels of care requirements.
- Ability to handle potentially stressful situations calmly and professionally.
- **Certifications:** CPR and First Aid certification preferred. Additional training in specialized care (e.g., dementia, hospice, or physical disabilities) is advantageous.
- **Physical Requirements:** Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and transferring clients, standing for extended periods, and assisting with mobility.
